Day 6: Negativity Cleanse
How are you today!?
Yesterday was a big day, and I'm sure you either have a huge cuppa coffee or tea on the menu for today, right?
In any case, look-at-you!
You are seriously crushing it and I'm sure your home feels so much lighter because of your efforts! I bet your kiddos are feeling pretty fantastic today too!
Today is all about you darling!
I hope you look your beautiful self in the mirror today and tell her how much you love her. I mean it. Go look yourself in the mirror. See your beautiful eyes... they have seen so much. See your smile... your smile has brought joy to so many people in this world. You are an incredible woman and you deserve to feel, love, joy and happiness.
Today we are going to be talking about removing negativity from your life. If you cringed a bit, hearing nice things said about you, we have some serious work to do and not just today. It's time to tell that negative voice in your head, the one that tells you you're not blank enough or your blank is too big, or too small... you know the voice... it's time to tell her to get a life.
You don't need to listen to her negativity anymore.
She is not you.
Think about it. If your best girlfriend was sitting next to you, and she was telling you out loud... all of those negative things that you tell yourself, would you still want to be friends with her? I don't think anyone would want to stay friends with someone that was constantly crushing their self worth and self esteem.
So why do we continue to do this to ourselves?
Your checklists for today are going to look a little bit different, as you are working on clearing out a different kind of clutter. So, here is your Day 6 Checklist and of course your Evernote version. It may be hard to look yourself in the mirror and say these things, but you deserve to hear them from your own mouth. So hop to it mama!
7 day Quest for Less: Day 6 Checklist
Today's Quest is to start a habit of pouring positivity into yourself, so you can continue to do that for others. You deserve to hear loving words from yourself! Look at yourself in the mirror and say these:
I love you
I am beautiful
I am grateful
I am worthy
I am deserving
I am enough
I am healthy
I am empowered I am happy
When you are finished, go through the list again, as many times as you feel you need to.
Since today is mostly internal work, you can absolutely give yourself the bonus task of considering the negative people in your life.
I tend to refer to these people as energy vampires.
You know the ones. After spending any considerable amount of time with them, you feel completely drained, and start feeling aggravated. Once you have them identified, minimize or limit the time you have with them. No sense in surrounding yourself with people that don't make you feel good.
