It has been a beautiful windy day here in Colorado Springs, celebrating the wonderful works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I spent much of the day in gratitude, and shared some lovely moments with my son, learning about what today really means. I hope that you find a moment of gratitude today for yourself, and how wonderful you are.
I also spent some time relaxing, and hanging out with dear Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy… and by that I mean I was watching Pride & Prejudice. It had me wondering, what kind of flower essences or essential oils the Bennet sisters were using, as it was during the Georgian era, before the French Revolution. During this time, it was very popular for women to use various herbs, and perfumed toilette. Some of the more popular aromas were Rose water, Orange Flower Water, and of course Lavender Water.
Many other essences and waters were also used such as Lemon, Bergamot, Jasmine, and Violet, but it got me thinking… and I whipped up a new diffuser and roller recipe for you. Add these to your diffuser, or double the drops and add to a 10ml roller bottle (add fractionated coconut oil too!), and you’ll be smelling and feeling like Mrs. Darcy in no time!
For this diffuser recipe (or roller bottle recipe) you will need these essential oils:
I realize that getting a drop out of the Rose and Jasmine touch rollers can be a little difficult, but I know you can do it! It’s well worth the trouble! If you are in need of help in this regard, I highly suggest using a pipette to get the oil out of your roller bottle.
I can’t wait to hear what you think of this blend! Do you want me to share more Pride & Prejudice blends? Let me know!
