Post-Sun Soother

YOWZA! Maybe you didn't apply nearly enough sunscreen and your skin is in desperate need of extra love and support! Look no further! Today I have a super simple and quick recipe to help soothe the discomfort that comes along with your new lobster-like appearance!


-Aloe vera gel

-Peppermint Essential Oil

-Lavender Essential Oil



Squeeze about a half dollar size amount of the Aloe into your hand.

Add 2 drops of Peppermint

Add 2 drops of Lavender

Apply to the area you are looking to soothe and support.

Reapply 2-3 times a day.


What is awesome about this combo of oils is that the Lavender is going to help support your skin recover quickly, and the Peppermint gives you a nice cooling sensation, which, let's be totally honest is SUPER duper necessary when you feel like a fried tomato! Of course we all know that Aloe Vera has tons of benefits for after sun care, so it just makes sense to mix these three fab ingredients together! Right?!
