Euphoria: Poetry Series

Euphoria

I listen to your strong and deep heart beat,

Rhythmically your chest rises and falls,

Lying with you is a most blissful feat,

And that your mind and heart to me still calls.

Moved internally through your sweet caress,

Nothing in the world moves me as you can.

Leisurely we begin a slow undress,

And I gaze at you, my most resilient man.

I feel so safe, warm wrapped as blankets do,

Stirring love and growing ever breathless.

An earthly love, I’ve found with you so true,

Arrive the pinnacle, collapse, and rest.

Together in this moment, we are one,

And find our “Ever After” has begun.
