Alright peeps, I'm busting out the woo-woo and chatting about another beautiful aspect of my life, Crystals. I grew up a crystal lover and have some fun and exciting stories to share with you in this post! If you have read a little bit about me, you'd know that I've been using essential oils since I was born, as my mother is very natural minded. My mama also exposed me to the world of crystals, and I am so so glad that she did.
I have been working with crystals since I was a child, and it's so amazing to see how they have impacted my life in such a powerful way. My spiritual journey, has been touched so deeply by crystals and essential oils. I have so much gratitude for my mother, introducing me to the holistic world as soon as I arrived earthside!
I wanted to share some old photos with you today, so you can see some of the rad hippie-dippie things I did when I was a child.

Playing at Lake Mead, AZ . I loved collecting rocks for my Castles!

Horse Riding, Connecting with Nature in all my glory.

Petrified Forest National Park, AZ. Sitting on top of a Crystal Tree!
I'm still looking for some photos of my earlier trips to Quartzite, AZ from my childhood. I have fond memories of going yearly with my family to look at crystals, and being able to choose some for myself that were special to me. One of my favorite trips, I think I was around 7 or 8 years old, we actually camped out at this hillside, and were able to dig for and pick up crystals off the ground! It was so much fun! After we found ones that we liked, I remember my mom, and grandma and I cleaned them up, and created pretty little scenes with Pewter sculptures. I still have one of them that we made with an Amethyst crystal, but the crystal was purchased and not harvested by us personally.

A few years ago, in 2012 to be exact, my family and I took a trip back to Quartzite. It was so awesome! My son has been naturally drawn to crystals every since he could grab them, and we certainly had a great time enjoying all the beautiful energy that Quartzite had to offer. I will be honest, it was overwhelming for me for most of the visit, as I'm extremely sensitive to these energies! However, we did leave with a few lovely pieces, and memories of course!

Crystals are part of our history, and have so much to offer. They aren't some new-age fad (although I do feel it's making quite the resurgence right now!). There are over 4,600 different types of stones, matrices, configurations, vibrations, and applications. I'm not going to dive into all 4,600, but I will share a few that I feel are incredibly supportive, especially when combined with essential oils.
If you're not 100% sold on Crystals holding, sustaining, or containing energy, let's spend time on a little sciencey stuff!
Piezoelectricity /piˌeɪzoʊˌilɛkˈtrɪsɪti/ is the electric charge that accumulates in certain solid materials (such as crystals, certain ceramics, and biological matter such as bone, DNA and various proteins)[1] in response to applied mechanical stress. (Wikipedia)
Did you know that crystals are included in computer circuiting, watches, and other devices for this reason? Everything is made up of energy. Essential oils, Crystals, plants, fruit, even you! I wanted to share a bit more about this, and I found that the best way is to share a quote from "The Secret". It helps explain energy from both a scientific and a spiritual standpoint. No matter what your perspective, it is super simple to understand.

From The Secret
Speaker: “Describe energy.”
Scientist: “Okay, it can never be created or destroyed; it always was; always has been; everything that ever existed always exists; it’s moving into form, through form, and out of form.”
Speaker: “What created the universe?”
Theologian:“God.”
Speaker: “Okay, describe God.”
Theologian: “Always was and always has been; never can be created or destroyed; all that ever was, always will be, always moving into form, through form, and out of form.”
Speaker: “You see, it’s the same description, just different terminology.”
You are eternal life; you’re source energy; you are God manifested in human form, made to perfection.
Scripturally, we could say we that we are the image and likeness of God; we could say we are another way that the universe is becoming conscious of itself; we could say that we are the infinite field of unfolding possibility; all of that would be true.
Crystals actually help to channel, focus and harness energy, when you are using them. Together with essential oils, you can feel and see incredible energetic results. As a Certified Crystal Reader, I'm so grateful to help support the body with crystals, in addition to Essential Oils. They complement each other so well!
Below we will look at the main Chakras or energy centers of the body, and which oils and crystals you can use together to support that energy center. Add oils and crystals of choice to a Roller Bottle with fractionated coconut oil, or apply oils to energy center, and hold selected crystal(s) while meditating. The essential oils can also be diffused while you do this. Use your intuition and let you body guide you in this process.
