It time for a tasty recipe, and a staple in your entree repertoir! Essential Lasagna! Do you like Lasagna? Every time I have lasagna I think about Garfield the cat... and now I feel old! hahaha This recipe includes Oregano, Rosemary, and Thyme Essential Oils! Is your mouth already watering? Good! Time to get to that cookin'! Everybody loves happy tastebuds, and since it's still chilly in most places, a nice warm dish is sure to heat things up!
-In a large saucepan, brown your grounds. Once they are cooked, drain, and set aside in another dish.
-Bring a large pot of water to boiling, then add your lasagna noodles. Cook until they are tender. Remove from heat, drain and then set them aside.
-While the noodles are cooking, you can prepare the sauce. Place the olive oil and chopped onion in the saucepan, and sautee over medium heat until the onions are nice and tender.
-Add in your garlic with the onions, and continue cooking for another minute, frequently stirring the fixin's.
-Add your tomatoes, pink himalayan salt, and the cooked grounds to the saucepan.
-Stir it all together and cook until thouroughly warmed.
-Turn off the heat, and stir in the thyme, rosemary, and oregano essential oils.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
-Spray the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish with coconut oil cooking spray
-Assemble the lasagna in the dish by layering noodles, sauce, cottage cheese, and grated mozzarella.
-Continue layering until you have used all the noodles and the dish is full.
-Cover the lasagna with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes, or until it's bubbly and hot
-Remove foil for the last 15 minutes of baking
-Let your lasagna sit for about 15 minutes to cool before serving it up!
