So we know there are wraps flying all around left and right, but can we make our own non-toxic version with ingredients we can pronounce? YES! Yes we can!
Here are two simple recipes that will make TONS of body wraps and save money by doing it yourself! Plus, if you are purchasing your oils at wholesale cost, you have even more savings! If you know me at all, you KNOW I love love LOVE diy projects, and this one again, is SUPER simple. I have 2 recipes here, one that you can make a large spray bottle for, and one for a quick one time application.Whichever route you go, you are going to be spending pennies per drop of oil, versus dollars per wrap. Sound good to you? Here you go!
4oz Glass Spray Bottle
Fractionated Coconut Oil
40 drops Metabolic Blend
15 drops Eucalyptus
15 drops Wintergreen
10 drops Peppermint
10 drops Lavender
10 drops Grapefruit
5 drops Cypress
Add the oils to your bottle first, and then fill the rest of the way with the fractionated coconut oil. Shake it up! If you want to, you can take measurements before you wrap your body. Spray the wrap solution onto the desired areas that you wish to wrap. FIRST place a muslin cloth or ace bandage on the area you are wrapping. THEN you can use a plastic wrap to help secure everything.
1 Tbsp of Fractionated Coconut Oil
5 drops Metabolic Blend
5 drops Grapefruit
Apply to target area and wrap with some sort of cloth. Secure with plastic wrap.
You can leave either of these wraps on for 3-5 hours, or if possible you can leave on overnight. Make sure you are drinking lots of water (with Lemon oil too!) When you are done wrapping, you can take measurements again. Enjoy!
